I sincerely apologize for the delay in responding.
First of all, Dr. Tail is a counseling service that alerts you to the necessity for an animal hospital visit; we do not examine your animal firsthand. So please understand that we cannot determine the cause of your animal's medical problem or advise you on how to treat it.
The clicking noise of a hamster that you describe is a symptom that occurs when a hamster is stressed or in pain. Her lethargy and exercise intolerance also suggests that she is in a certain disease condition. In particular, open-mouth breathing in small rodents means severe respiratory distress.
Unfortunately, all you can do to help her is to keep her cage warm properly and water her to prevent dehydration. You must take her to the animal hospital to cure her illness. Hamsters are quite vulnerable animals, so please take her to the animal hospital before it's too late.
I hope you find the above response to be helpful. Thank you.
