The symptoms could point to several potential issues, such as an eye infection, conjunctivitis, or even a respiratory infection.

It's important to ensure your cat's environment is clean and free from dust and irritants, as these can exacerbate eye issues. If your cat is rubbing its eyes frequently, try to keep its claws trimmed to prevent any accidental scratches or further irritation.

For eye-related symptoms, there's not much you can do at home. Since the advice in yesterday's answer didn't work, consider getting him checked out by a vet to determine his exact cause and condition.

If the symptoms persist or worsen, or if you notice any additional signs like lethargy or loss of appetite, it would be best to take him to the vet. Eye issues can escalate quickly, and a vet can provide the appropriate treatment, such as antibiotic eye drops or other medications if needed.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

First of all, I'm sorry that I couldn't answer your question quickly.

Did my previous advice work? Or are Ash's symptoms persisting?

You might also consider using artificial tears or eye drops, which you can find over-the-counter. Apply the drops two to three times a day, and when doing so, approach your cat from behind to avoid startling them. Understand that I can't recommend specific products.

If his symptoms persist or worsen, recommend taking him to the vet.
