He chewed on a peach pit but did not open it I’m just a little concerned he has shown no symptoms at all
I'm glad to hear that your dog hasn't shown any symptoms after chewing on the peach pit. While peach pits can be concerning due to their potential to cause blockages or contain cyanide compounds, it's reassuring that he didn't manage to open it. However, there are a few things you should keep an eye on:
Firstly, monitor your dog for any signs of gastrointestinal distress. Symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, or lethargy could indicate a blockage or irritation.
Secondly, observe any changes in his behavior. If he starts acting unusually, such as becoming more lethargic or showing signs of pain, it could be a sign that something is wrong.
Lastly, ensure he stays hydrated and maintains his regular diet. If he refuses to eat or drink, this could be a sign of an issue.
Since he hasn't shown any symptoms so far, it's likely that he will be fine. However, if you notice any changes or if he starts showing any symptoms, it would be best to consult with a veterinarian to ensure there are no underlying issues.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
