I'm sorry to hear about your dog's condition. Based on the symptoms and the photos you've shared, it appears that your dog might be suffering from a severe skin infection, possibly worsened by the recent flea infestation. The presence of pus, redness, scabbing, and hair loss suggests that the infection could be either bacterial or fungal in nature.

Until you can get to a veterinarian, here are some steps you can take at home:

Firstly, it's important to keep the affected areas clean. You can gently clean them with a mild antiseptic solution or saline solution. Be sure to avoid using any harsh chemicals or soaps that could further irritate your dog's skin.

To prevent your dog from scratching or licking the wounds, which can exacerbate the infection, consider using an Elizabethan collar (e-collar).

Applying a cold compress to the affected areas can help reduce swelling and discomfort. You can do this for a few minutes several times a day.

Additionally, monitor your dog for any changes in behavior, appetite, or the appearance of additional symptoms such as fever or increased lethargy.

Given the severity of the symptoms and the rapid progression of the wounds, it is crucial to seek veterinary care as soon as possible. Your veterinarian will likely perform tests such as skin scrapings or cultures to determine the exact cause of the infection and prescribe appropriate treatments, which may include antibiotics or antifungal medications.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
