At just 3 months old, it's quite early for a kitten to be in heat, as they typically reach sexual maturity around 6 months of age. However, if you believe your kitten is showing signs of being in heat, such as increased vocalization, restlessness, and affectionate behavior, it's important to monitor her closely.

In the meantime, you can help by keeping her comfortable and ensuring she has a safe and quiet space to rest. If you're looking for a low-cost clinic, local animal shelters or rescue organizations often have resources or can recommend affordable veterinary services.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.

Based on the behaviors you're describing—such as loud vocalizations, rolling, arching her back, and increased affection—it does indeed sound like your cat might be in heat. Female cats typically enter their first heat cycle around 5 to 6 months of age, so if she's older than initially thought, this would make sense.

If you're considering spaying her, it can help prevent these heat cycles and offers other health benefits. Many animal shelters and rescue organizations provide affordable spay/neuter services, so looking into low-cost clinics could be beneficial.
