What are causes & treatment?

Thank you for reaching out to us. It is very normal for some puppies to experience both lethargy and diarrhea after the deworming treatment. However, most of the mild side effects are self-limiting and resolve themselves within 48 hours. Some of the worms such as hookworms and whipworms are not visible with naked eyes.

If she is still showing diarrhea, you should consider bringing her to a vet for an examination as persistent diarrhea and inflamed intestines can lead to dehydration and other more serious conditions such as hypoglycemia and electrolyte imbalance.
